Amydeanne has added a photo to the pool:The heart of a child will tell you that the most fun and entertaining thing is spending time with daddy. At our house this year amusement has been daddy pulling the kids behind the snowmobile on a garbage lid.. yes, you heard me, a garbage lid! It's been hilariously amusing and so much fun! Their hearts are joyful and it is such good medicine for all of us. I pray that we will remember that as we grow older that God used the gift of laughter and joy to keep us knowing how much he loves you and me!

I stopped to admire the sun's descent over the Mercier bridge and then missed the light because, cliché of all clichés, I met a cocker spaniel puppy who needed his soft pink belly rubbed. I wish I had taken a pic, but I think the owner had had enough of me (not the puppy). haha! humans!Yesterday was a beautiful Spring day... today promises to be the same. I'm off... for another needed hit of natural Vitamin D (sunshine ;D)Hope I get some good shots... don't have any plans yet.Have a great one, will catch up with you tonight! xx

Then you called out to God in your desperate condition; he got you out in the nick of time. He led you out of your dark, dark cell, broke open the jail and led you out. So thank God for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves; He shattered the heavy jailhouse doors, he snapped the prison bars like matchsticks! I realized today that some of the thorniest times of life for me are the times when the Lord is fighting for me and against my rebellion to turn me back to Him so that I can ask Him for help and so that He can help me... being back with the Lord is the end result of situation so bad that I realize only He can help pull me out. The War Rages On

The battle cry of defeat is sounded
Yet the flesh refuses to be grounded
He fights back hard, as hard as ever
Refusing to surrender to his inevitable blunder

Weakened from an overwhelming need to feed
The soldier must submit to the Spirit’s lead
The battle cannot be lost, there’s so much at stake
Failing yet again, will be too hard to take

A seasoned veteran, the flesh has been here before
He knows what is needed, to win it, once more
Armed with empty promises of instant satisfaction
That can only deliver at the cost of one’s freedom

The battle cry of defeat is sounded
This time for the soldier that is wounded
Reaching for the Word, the only arsenal that can empower
Providing what he needs in this, his desperate hour
