I think this is one of the true struggles among Bible believers,.. knowing what is true, with so many different interpretations it is sometimes hard to agree on different key beliefs. I believe that the Bible is not easy to understand sometimes, at the same time, I know God reveals the truth to us when we ask Him. In Christianity many things have been added over time to the truths found in the Bible, so we must be careful not to mistake cultural and traditional practices to be mixed up with God's word.

Your poem brings this scripture to mind:

guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long." ~ Psalm 25:5

keep up the good work :)
