The Empty Tomb

Expecting to find Him there
His absence aroused a fear
But short-lived, their joy revived
When He appeared to them, alive!
For what had been long foretold
By Him and prophets of old
He did for love, to save us all
From sin that led to man’s downfall
By His resurrection, our fate is secured
We live without fear, our faith is assured
It nurtures a peace that lives in full bloom
And sprouts seeds of hope from that empty tomb

1 Corinthians 15:14- And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith
1 Corinthians 15:17- And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins

What a beautiful poem of faith! It’s so true–we can love in peace because of what Jesus did for us. Amen!
