Remembering Their Sacrifice

Today, we remember and honor the sacrifice of those American men and women that died in military service. Many of them lost their lives fighting for the freedoms that we enjoy today; freedoms that we often take for granted.

As I reflect on the meaning of this holiday, I am reminded of our Lord’s sacrifice on the cross so that we could be freed from the penalty of sin and one day, enjoy everlasting life with Him.

Death for Life – what a blessing and a privilege to have someone willingly give up their own life, so we can have ours.

I encourage you to give thanks today for the sacrifices that were made just for you.
