Hannah, I am encouraged by how you helped save the life of an innocent baby. We need more people like you - with more people like you in the world reaching out to young mothers (or in this case young grandmothers :)) , hopefully we can decrease the number of innocent lives lost each year. I love the calm, sincere, Scriptural response. What would we say though, when the person doesn't even consider themselves a Christian? I mean, we could use Scripture to a point, but they don't believe it or take it to heart. I was just on Jill Stanek's blog (she's a pro-life advocate) and was going back-and-forth with a pro-choice person and I was shocked at the shallow comebacks she had. But nothing I said got through to her. I mean, maybe it did behind the scenes, but I don't know. That’s an awesome story! I love the calm, sincere, Scriptural response.

I love how you directed your friend to the Word of God, which is the most comforting and re-assuring thing you could have done. Many women see abortion as a way out, but it is actually a trap set by the devil, it is covering one sin with another, which from the surveys lead to mass depression and sometimes suicide, the guilt lives with the women for a lifetime. I was so happy to read at the end that she allowed her daughter to have the baby and God worked it all out, what a wonderful God we serve!! :) God Bless You.
