A good thing for couples to do is talk about it and come to some agreement as to what line they will not cross, this way neither of them is an unequal yoke to the other – even if they are both believers

Oh — this is so true way, way, way beyond the unmarried couples situation. I struggle with this throughout my day. Because I have so many competing areas I am responsible for, if I allow myself to get off track, I’m cooked for the day. “I’ll just deal with this one thing” is my major temptation. Generally, the one thing is also something I need to do, but if I put it into the wrong time slot, it leads to the next and the next and my first set of responsibilities gets lost.

I agree with you, Christian couples should not be alone, it is too
tempting and we have to be careful not to place our self in situations
that are hard to get out of. Thanks for sharing this story with us, Liza.

Temptation can distort all that we know as real. I think that is one of the main reasons we shouldn’t be COMPLETELY alone until after marriage. It is just too easy to get “lost in the moment.”
